By adding new thermo-compensated crystals and synchronization methods, the accuracy of times is now guaranteed to 1/1000 throughout the duration of the timing session. Furthermore, a fail-safe feature has been added so that no times can ever be lost due to interruptions in radio reception. Each timing module: wand, photocell & timer, memorizes the time-of-day of starts and finishes for eventual upload directly to a SD/ MMC memory card via Brower’s exclusive Memory Pod.
